Howdy my name is Kobi Dawg. I'm a Shiba Inu. I am Royalty as I am the Imperial dog of the Japanese Emperor’s family. Also, I am a national treasure in my homeland.
I’ve been around for a long long time. My family tree goes back into pre-history. Around 7000 BC the ancestors of today`s Shibas may have accompanied the earliest immigrants to Japan. Archaeological excavations of the shell-mounds left by the Jomonjin, or Rope-Pattern People (a name derived from the pattern found on their earthenware), show that they had small dogs in the 14.5 to 19.5 inch range. The Chow and Akita Inu are decedent from my ancestors. But they are not as handsome as I am.
I do not consider myself a “Small Dog”. I am rightly a “Macho Stud Muffin”. I personally have had a heavy weight bout with an unfortunate Pit Bull. I left him crying in the rain.
One of my most loved activities in driving around in my convertible along with Harry, that guy who thinks he is my “owner”. No way Jose! Consequently, he keeps my ride spotless at all times. I love driving with the top down with my awesome double coat willowing in the breeze.
I positively cannot tolerate catching those no-see-ems in my impressive black eyes. So, I had Harry buy me a pair of custom fit Vuarnet, the reference brand in sun protection and optical quality. I expect and receive only the best.
When you are out and are fortunate enough to come around me, if you are nice I might let you massage me. I must warn you though that I am aloof and stand offish until I get to know you better. Caviar always enhances your probabilities.
