Applicant dumps dead cows over fence

Delta Co. Sheriff's department received a call from the neighbor of an applicant going thru the Specific Development procedure in Delta county to put a 15,000 chicken egg laying operation in a rural/residential area....one of 2 applications so far. Pictures were shown of the dead cattle at the Planning Commission meeting on July 21 that didn't end till 12:30 am. How can you trust a person with 15,000 chickens if this is their pattern of behavior? Delta County citizens have started a petition drive to prevent these operations from moving in here from Illinois. Planning Commissioners will deliberate and make their decision tonight at 5 PM at the Delta County Courthouse. But then it goes on to the three County Commissioners to be decided upon in August.
