My name is Jacque Kuchyt, I am a freshman at Fruita Monument High School and life isn't all that easy having to hide my smile. I am a very grateful person for the things that I do have. Unfortunately my mom is out of work due to having her 4th child. My mom has struggled supporting my two little brothers and I since I was 7 years old, thats when her and my father got divorced. She was a hard working single mother. It has been years since I have seen a dentist. We just haven't had the money for it. In the past year she met her husband Travis who is supporting our family. Just recently my dad got laid off and is now living in a camp trailer. I am a very fun person to be around always in a good mood for the ones around me. I don't let anyone bring me down. There is this one thing that everyone notices about a person, not their hair, not their shoes, but their teeth along with their smile. That is something I highly struggle with. A smile is something that brightens peoples day and it shows your personality. People at school are very judgmental toward others appearance. In pictures you never see me smile with my teeth showing. I try to keep it on the low down. Its hard when someone asks you why you don't have braces. I'm not the only one in my family that has bad teeth. My father and mother both have horrible teeth and my two little brothers do too. Lately I have been having a hard time chewing and I am having very sharp pains in my mouth. Getting this opportunity to get braces is life changing. I would more than appreciate getting this. Thank you so much!(:
