The hideous guest bath

We purchased this fixer -upper home 6 years ago and ran out of money before we could finish the repairs. When we moved in, every plumbing fixture in the house needed some sort of repair; in fact the first day after we took possesion, I walked in to hear water running and found a toilet overflowing. We fixed the main areas as best we could, and installed solar electric panels to be environmentally responsible, but with three young kids and their needs and wants, it's hard to sock money away to finish the home improvements. We would love some help updating.

I think its interesting that you chose to install solar panels for the environment rather than fixing the esthetics of the interior. Good for you!
