This is not the "second" bathroom
This is not the extra loo
We have just this single option
When our business we must do.
The plumbing's so outdated
We cannot repair the pipes
So the leaks go unabated
All day long and through the nights.
The floor is stained and peeling
And the sink is chipped --and BLUE
There are defects in the ceiling
And the walls are guesome, too
The vanity's an eyesore
And there's lots of wasted space
We could use a total restore
An updating of the place.
We need drywall, sinks and tiling
We need shelves and flooring, too
We need reasons to be smiling
There's so much that you could do!
We moved in to save some money
And pay off our growing debt
We've made progress in our journey
Be we aren't home-free quite yet.
I had hope to DIY
And perform the work alone
But no matter how I try
I just cannot "git 'er done".
Rear-ended late last June
The crash ripped my shoulder cuff
I can barely hold a broom
Nevermind the plumbing stuff.
So, I beg you, give some thought
To a viewer (who's a fan)
And consider, please, our lot
And this room we call "The Can".
What an offer! What a Gift!
What a blessing this could be
What a dream to have a "Loo Lift"
