Entry to master bathroom

What Were They Thinking

What were they thinking when the owner or builder designed this bathroom for my sister's home? Most people enjoy the luxury of a master bath, but not in this house.

In the 8 years that my sister has owned this home, they rarely use their shower. They call it the "Coffin" because it is so dark and cramped. The shower head points the wrong direction and it is so low that you have to bend over to rinse your hair. Understand that my sister is pretty tiny. However, her husband is over 6 foot tall and just had a hip replacement, so he has been forced to shower at the gym. Not exactly an ideal situation.

It is not just the lack of practicality of the bathroom, it is just plain ugly. My sister has cleaned, painted, and decorated, but without replacing everything there's no helping the sad looking room. Please don't tell her that I said that. She would kill me.

This bathroom needs better counter space, more storage space, and a bathtub-shower. Just what the Tile Meister is offering to help with. I can't think of anyone more deserving than my sister and her husband. Like many of us who are older, they won't have the money to make the improvements anytime in the near future.

I hope that you can tell from just three pictures how lovely and practical their bathroom would be with just a little help from Tile Meister.
