This bathroom in our house was an additon way back in the day. The shingles from the outside of the house were still a part of the bathroom walls and still is on the outside interior wall. We started to remodel doing the flooring and tearing out the shingles on the wall as you see and a water pipe broke under the house. So the plumber came and tore the floor up again. So we just layed a piece of vynyl down.
Well being the economy is so bad we have been unable to finish anything. Now as you see in the tub. ( I fell through the wall getting out of the tub) so we just put some plastic over it to keep any water from going in the wall and doing more damage. So my bathroom just has to stay UGLY until the times change with this economy, or I possibly when " The Ugly Bathroom Contest "
My hopes are high cause this UGLY is putting it midly

I wished my bathroom looked as good as some of these do that is for sure. Some really don't look that bad to me....but I guess ugly is in the eye of the beholder. :)

I only commented on something else I read about a slumlord but It is not posted. I never tried to degrade any other contestant at all. Sorry if you took it that way. It was not meant to offend another contestant.

We get them in the warmer months and was redoing it when the water pipe broke it put a stop on everything when the economy went down. I have to put the wall up to be able to paint it LOL

Nope your wrong, I offered my services to the family living their. READ IT AGAIN ! Normally we stay busy helping others rather than doing to much for ourselves. That is what makes us happy :) We are redoing a mobile home for a homeless war vet now.

Oh the double posting issue (channel news 5 stated that only the first set would be looked at. It wasn't meant to give anyone grief at it was a liegitimate issue that others agreed with and disagreed with as well. I think it was cleared up.

Someone is gettting sore ( ruff tp?)I would never say I am a baddddddddddd person. Anyone knows me wouldn't either. Far from it. I have a sense of humor, and its not like Colorado climate. Its all in good fun, at my bathrooms expense.
