GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office says a woman whose body was found south of Emma might have died of exposure.

Undersheriff Ron Ryan tells The Glenwood Springs Post Independent nothing suggests that foul play was involved in the death of 44-year-old Claudia Ruiz, of Silt. Ruiz got on a bus in Glenwood Springs on May 17, and surveillance video showed her getting off near El Jebel, several miles from where she was found by a rancher May 23.

Family members said during the search they were especially concerned because Ruiz didn't have medication she needed for a mental condition.

Ryan says Ruiz, who was found naked, could have died of hypothermia or hyperthermia, although a final ruling has yet to be made.
