GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Rescue crews responded to a fatal accident that occurred at the 1900 block of Bunting Avenue in Grand Junction.
The accident was reported at 1:25 p.m. and the truck apparently came from the Village Inn parking lot where it drove through the house. No one was inside when the accident occurred.
The driver of the truck was Stanley Sanders, a 55 year-old male resident of Grand Junction.
The first to arrive on scene was a police officer who found the driver unresponsive. The officer performed CPR on Mr. Sanders, but he was later pronounced dead on-scene from natural causes and sustained no injuries. The passenger of the vehicle was uninjured.
Although there was nobody inside the house when the truck crashed in, there were two pets; a cat and a snake. Both of the animals survived and sustained no injuries.
