MINTURN, Colo. (AP) - Traffic is moving again after the Colorado Department of Transportation repaired a sinkhole on Colorado Highway 24 near Minturn.
Officials said the sinkhole was about nine feet wide in the center of the roadway. They say an old culvert probably caused the damage.
An alternate route for wide-load truck traffic is still in effect from Colorado Highway 91 near Leadville to Interstate 70.
