GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- Hall of Fame pitcher Richard Michael Gossage, better known as "Goose" Gossage attended the grand opening of the Monument Little League Hitting Facility in Grand Junction on Monday.  Gossage also signed autographs for fans before the Grand Junction Rockies game at Suplizio Field.

Goose spent his best years with the New York Yankees and the San Diego Padres.  He pitched in 1,002 games before retiring in 1994.

The Hall of Famer also made the All-Star team nine times and pitched in two World Series, winning one in 1978 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
