Rockies Snap Two-Game Losing Skid

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-The Grand Junction Rockies (24-21, 3-4) snapped their two-game losing skid Tuesday night at Suplizio Field def. the Orem Owlz (LAA) (24-21, 4-3), 5-3 on a rainy night in the Grand Valley. Rockies 2013 2nd-round pick, Ryan McMahon led the offensive attack for Grand Junction going 3-4 with 3RBI's. The Mater Dei alumnus had the go-ahead triple that scored two in the 7th inning to give the Rockies a two-run lead. Devin Burke threw 6 2/3 innings, giving up three runs on four hits with five strikeouts. The teams will wrap up their four-game set Wednesday night at Suplizio Field. Zach Jemiola will throw out the first pitch at 7:05pm.
