RIFLE, Colo. - One lucky person is $90 million richer after buying the winning Powerball ticket in Rifle on Saturday.
The winner, who has yet to come forward, matched all five numbers plus the Powerball in Saturday night’s drawing. The winning numbers are 3, 12, 31, 34, and 51. The Powerball red power number is 24 and the power play number is 2.
The ticket was sold at the Kum & Go gas station located at 120 E. 26th Street. The store gets a $50,000 commission for selling the winning numbers.
Residents in Rifle are jealous.
"I'd buy a big mansion and a big Lamborghini,” said Curt Grizzle. “I don't know really, that's a lot of money."
Another winning Powerball ticket with a $1 million prize was sold in Broomfield. That winner also has yet to come forward.
This is the largest Powerball jackpot ever won in Colorado.
According to Colorado Lottery, the proceeds from the games enhance, protect, and improve parks, recreation areas, wildlife, trails, and open space in the state.
