Owen Taylor Signs L.O.I. to Play Baseball at Kansas

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Grand Junction High School baseball player, Owen Taylor, officially signed his letter of intent to continue his career on the collegiate diamond in the Spring of 2014, Wednesday afternoon.

Taylor was the only high school baseball player to make his committment official on signing day on the Western Slope. He also becomes the first baseball player from the Grand Valley to sign a Div. 1 letter of intent since 2011. (Casey Burns, St. Marys (CA).

The senior third baseman batted .483 as a junior and was named to the Southwestern League First-team.

The Tigers are currently second all-time in Colorado State Championships, trailing only Cherry Creek. Grand Junction will look for their first since 2005 next season.
