MESA COUNTY, Colo.- Safe Kids of America is hosting an assembly and community class at Olathe Middle High school for students, staff and parents regarding teens and marijuana.
This event is happening In a response to an incident that occurred on Jan.22 at the Olathe Middle High School where a student brought Marijuana infused brownies during the school day which caused a couple of students to get sick.
Deputy Chad Williams from the Mesa County sheriff's office will be at the school to host the events.
The dates and times for today's event:
Olathe High School at 9:00 a.m.
Olathe Middle School at 12:45 p.m.
Staff Training at 3:00 p.m.
Parent/community at 6:00 p.m.
