No.2 Palisade's Run Ends In State Class 3A Quarterfinals

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-No. 2 Palisade fell 24-21, Friday night at Stocker Stadium to No. 7 Classical Academy in the 2013 Class 3A State Football Playoffs.

The victory for the Titans puts them into their first-ever Class 3A Semi-Final.

Palisade regained the lead for the first time since the first quarter courtesy of a seven-yard touchdown run by senior Dalton Hannigan with 6:08 remaining in the contest.

The Classical Academy would convert a 4th down and 6 and march all the way to the endzone scoring with 33 seconds remaining in the game to seal the victory.
