GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--After missing four weeks with a broken collarbone, senior tailback Angelo Youngren will play this Saturday when No. 1 Montrose hosts No. 16 Montbello in the first round of Class 4A playoffs.

"I'm excited to play with my team again," Youngren said. "I mean, I've been hanging around with them, but it's good to be on the field with them again."

The 2012 Southwestern League Player of the Year was cleared to play Tuesday night and practiced Wednesday for the first time since the injury.

"Probably the biggest smile," Youngren said of his reaction to the news. "It was a great feeling. It was more shocking feeling that I'm back already."

"I was excited for him," head coach Todd Casebier said. "And also for us, but he's a great kid. Worked extremely hard coming into his senior year and he deserves to be out here."

The Indians (9-1) will look to get out of the first round of the playoffs for the first time since 2009.
