Matt Delay Throws Shutout in RMAC Tournament Opener

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- RMAC 1st-team performer Matt Delay through a complete game shutout to lift top-seeded Colorado Mesa over Colorado-Mines, 6-0, in the opening round of the 2014 RMAC Baseball Tournament Thursday night at Suplizio Field.

The righty allowed only six, while striking out three in one of his most dominant performances of the year.

Nate Robertson and Austin Wallingford added home runs for the Mavericks in a game that was scoreless until thie bottom of the fifth inning.

Third-seeded CSU-Pueblo also advanced in the winner's bracket with a 15-9 win over two-seed New Mexico Highlands.
