GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - A 24 year old male is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after crashing his motorcycle into a light pole.
The accident occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday night on 28 1/4 Road.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department, the rider was thrown from his motorcycle after colliding with a light pole causing it to fall over, blocking the northbound lane of the road.
The crash is still under investigation. Both speed and alcohol are being considered as possible contributing factors.
