RIFLE, Colo. - On Monday afternoon, the Kum & Go store on E. 26th St. in Rifle received its commission check of $50,000 for selling the winning Powerball ticket on Saturday.
The $90 million Powerball prize was the largest winning ever in the state of Colorado. The presentation for the check included state lottery officials and the regional manager of Kum & Go.
Still, no one has yet to come forward and claim the lottery, but officials say that there’s no rush. The individual who hit the jackpot has up to 180 days from the drawing to claim the money.
