GJ Rox Hold on to Division Lead

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- The Grand Junction Rockies played the Ogden Raptors for the third time in as many days on Monday night at Suplizio field in Grand Junction.  

Heading into the game, the Rockies held a half game lead in the Pioneer League South Division standings over the Raptors.

Catcher Dom Nunez extended his hitting streak to 13 games and drove in two runs in the seventh inning.  

Outfielders Randy Reyes and Yonathan Daza combined for nine hits, helping the Rox end their season-long four game losing streak.

The Rockies beat the Raptors 9-1.  The two teams play again on Tuesday night at Suplizio field at 7:05pm.
