GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--The Grand Junction Rockies capped off an abysmal 1-7 homestand with a 10-2 loss to the Idaho Falls Chukars Sunday at Suplizio Field. The first-half division champions have dropped 13 of their last 16 games and fall to 3-9 in the second half and 24-26 overall. The Royals affiliate outscored the Rockies 39-12 in the four-game sweep. Game notes: Outfielder Jeff Popick is heading to Arizona to rehab a strained hamstring he reinjured Friday night.
