GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--The Grand Junction Rockies fell to the Helena Brewers, 8-4, Tuesday night at Suplizio Field to split the series 2-2. Alex Balog was credited with the loss, dropping to 0-4. The supplemental second round pick allowed one earned run on eight hits in six innings of work; however three errors led to five unearned runs. "I also gave up a lot of bad pitches," Balog said. "I left a couple balls up, so it wasn't just the defense. It was a lot of me too, so I have to get better in that sense as well." The loss drops the Rockies to 7-19 in the second half and 28-36 overall.
