GJ Rockies Drop 6th Straight, Tapia Extends Hitting Streak to 29 Games

OGDEN, Utah--The Grand Junction Rockies dropped their sixth-straight Thursday night, 8-3 to the Ogden Raptors at Lindquist Field. The Dodgers affiliate completed the four-game sweep of the South Division rivals. The lone bright spot this road trip has been Raimel Tapia, who extended his club-record hitting streak to 29 games. The 19-year-old Dominican product picked up two hits and is the league's leading hitter at .384. The first half division champs have lost eight of their nine games and fall to 0-2 in the second half of the season.
