GYPSUM, Colo. - Crews responded to what's being called the Bullet Fire that was reported near Gypsum around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. According to the Upper Colorado River Fire Management Unit, the blaze was first reported on Bureau of Land Management land north of Cottonwood Pass and west of Gypsum.
There are no structures in the area, but there is a power line in the vicinity of the fire.
Three resources are currently on scene (two federal, one county, and two more on the way). The Juniper Valley Crew is on the way as well.
Witnesses on scene say the fire is about 3/10 acres.
