MESA COUNTY, Colo. - On Thursday, members from Club 20 will meet to discuss current issues in their biannual policy committee meetings. This is a two-day meeting that will help Club 20 members and the public be informed about current policies. They will also see if there needs to be changes.
Club 20 members will be discussing various topics, such as transportation, education, health care, tourism, and business affairs. They will be looking at these issues and focus how it benefits the Western Slope community.
“The meetings take place, and you capture this diverse perspective with what Club 20 often does is to find the common ground that works for everybody,” said former Club 20 chairman and CEO of Rocky Mountain Health Plans Steve ErkenBrack.
The first week of meetings will be in Edwards, Colorado. There’s also a second set of policies they will be covering in Durango, Colorado on July 31 to Aug. 1.
Officials say these meetings are free and open to the public. Members from 22 counties will attend the two-day meeting.
