GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The City of Grand Junction has developed an iPad App to allow residents access to the city’s Geographic Information System (GIS).
The GIS App, iMapGJ, was developed by Jackson Trappett. It is now available on the iTunes App Store. Residents with an iPad or iPad Mini can download the new app and access the city’s GIS anywhere there’s connectivity.
The new app contains all of the city’s maps, including City Map, Business Map, Development Map, Public Safety Map, Transportation Map and Utilities Map.
GIS staff will be conducting a training class on the app on Jan. 21 from 10- 11 a.m. in the City Hall Auditorium. For additional information, contact GIS Manager Terry Brown at (970) 244-1561.
