Central Alabama Remains Undefeated With Win Over Midland

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Central Alabama (2-0) stunned Midland College (1-1) Monday night at Suplizio Field, 11-4, to remain undefeated in the 2013 Junior College World Series. Paul Young threw a complete game for the Trojans allowing four runs on eleven hits with ten strikeouts. B.J. Martin led the offensive attack for Central Alabama going 2-3 with a run and an RBI. Midland now moves to the loser's bracket and will play Palm Beach State for the right to stay alive in the tournament Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. Central Alabama earns an off-day and will face the winner between Neosho County (1-0) and Spartanburg Methodist (2-0) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
