PALISADE, Colo. -- The Palisade High School football team enters 2014 with a young group of players who have not had much game experience.

The Bulldogs graduated many seniors from their 10-2 team last year.

"We're a young group.  We have a lot of guys that haven't played a lot of football but they are good players.  They have been in a role where they were going against some good people their whole careers out here.  We're looking forward to it.  I think we can do some good things," said Joe Ramunno, Head Coach, Palisade High School football.

The team will rely heavily on players like Cody Latham and Easton Woods, two seniors who are looking to shoulder the load on offense.

How quickly these young players are able to develop will have a huge impact on whether or not the team can repeat the success they had last year.

Palisade opens their season at The Classical Academy on Friday, August 29 at 7:00pm.
