EAGLE COUNTY, Colo.- Western Slope authorities are making progress in the investigation of two armed robberies, and they're asking for the public's help.

Officials were recently tipped off to an abandoned car in Rifle, that fit the description of a vehicle involved in robberies this month at a Comfort Inn in Eagle, and at the Big Dog Car Wash in Gypsum.
The vehicle's discovery led to the identification of Forest Mangus, 31, as a suspect.

Mangus was already being held on unrelated charges.

Officials believe another suspect may have been involved in the crimes and they hope that finding a second vehicle will lead them to that person.

Authorities are looking for a maroon and silver Subaru Outback.

If anyone has any information, please call the Eagle County Sheriff's Office at 970-328-8500
