GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Officials are making progress regarding the search to replace recently resigned Grand Junction Regional Airport Board chairman Denny Granum.
The Grand Junction City Council met with Mesa County Commissioners Thursday afternoon and discussed when the seat will be filled.
Commissioner John Justman said they should have the replacement named in 10 days after all applications are in.
He said as of Wednesday, they've received four applications for the position. The last day to turn in an application for a board position is Friday.
The previous Regional Airport Board chairman Denny Granum resigned weeks ago amid a federal fraud probe into the airport.
