2014 Energy Forum and Expo

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Energy Forum and Expo is back in town with the latest information on energy developments of the century.


Many experts from the industry will be there along with several displays.


Hosts with the event say the energy industry is ever-changing.


Organizers say every year there are always some new innovations to help increase energy production.


They also say that energy production is one of the key drivers of the Western Colorado economy.


"To bring these experts in to bring the service businesses in, to bring those looking for jobs and those who work in the industry it’s important for our economy,” said Betsy Bair of the Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce.


The expo will be held at the Two Rivers Convention Center located at 159 Main Street.


The expo will begin at 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


The forum will begin at 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.


This event is free to the public.


More than 60 vendors will be at this year’s expo.
