Trent DeBraga and Matthew Mankoff Named Academic All-Americans

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Colorado Mesa Football Players Trent DeBraga and Matthew Mankoff were named Wednesday to the Capital One Division II Academic All-American team.

DeBraga is a criminal justice major with a perfect 4.00 G.P.A., while also achieving success on the football field. He was 1st-Team All-Conference as a kick returner in 2012.

He led the conference with 642 kick return yards and a 25.7 average. He finished his career with 299 tackles and 2,407 kick return yards at CMU.

Mankoff was a four-year starter at CMU, twice earning All-Conference playing honors.He carries a 3.95 GPA in Business Administration and will graduate this month.
