NCAA Regional Day Two: No. 4 CMU Still Dancing

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Top-seeded Colorado Mesa defeated fourth-seeded Texas-Permian Basin, 78-68, in the South Central Regional semifinal Saturday night.

The Lady Mavericks, ranked fourth in the nation, improve to 30-1 on the year and advance to the Sweet 16.

CMU will face second-seeded Midwestern State in the regional championship Monday at 7 pm. The Mustangs defeated sixth-seeded Metro State, 66-52, in the second round at Brownson Arena.

The winner of Monday night's title game will advance to the Elite Eight, which tips off March 26th in San Antonio.
