Mesa Hoops Preps For Home Opener

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Colorado Mesa continued preparation Tuesday afternoon for Friday's 2012 home opener against Northern New Mexico.

Reigning RMAC Offensive Player of the Week, So. G/F Mike Mellillo did not practice Tuesday due to illness.

Melillo is averaging 18.5ppg and 10.0 rbg through CMU's first two contests, but is expected to play Friday.

Fort Lewis and Dixie State round out the four-team men's bracket for the Thanksgiving Clarion Inn Invitational.

Festivities begin Friday afternoon at 1 p.m.
