Mavs Sweep Sunday Doubleheader

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Colorado Mesa softball team improves to 17-11 on the season and 15-9 in conference play after getting two wins over Colorado Christian on Sunday.

The Mavericks won game one, 9-4, and game two, 6-2. CMU takes the series, 3-1.

In game one, Courtney Maihi went seven innings and struck out four. In game two, Ashley Pulido allowed two runs and struck out seven.

Next up, the Mavs travel to Chardon State for a four-game series next weekend.
