Mavs Sweep Highlands, Extend Win Streak to Four

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Colorado Mesa volleyball (17-10, 11-8) posted back-to-back sweeps defeated New Mexico Highlands 3-0 following a three-set sweep over CSU-Pueblo on Friday night. CMU enters the RMAC volleyball tournament as the #8 seed and will travel to #1 seed Colorado School of Mines on Tuesday night.

CMU closed out the regular season with a 25-11, 25-20, 25-22 win over the Cowgirls in Las Vegas, NM. Kelly Regimbal led all players with 12 kills and a .500 attack percentage. Rachael Beaty finished with nine kills and two block solos.

Jordyn Moody tallied 25 assists and six digs. Megan Rush finished with a game high 10 digs.

Colorado Mesa is on a four match win streak and will look to upend the Orediggers in the first round of the RMAC Volleyball Tournament on Tuesday night in Golden.

CMU and Colorado Mines met on October 12 in Brownson Arena as the Orediggers came away with a 3-0 victory. The match is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
