Mavs Prep for Colorado School of Mines

by Claire Brandon

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--Colorado Mesa (3-4, 3-2 RMAC) will look to win its third straight this Saturday at Colorado School of Mines (4-3, 2-3 RMAC).

Jake Cimolino leads the RMAC with 1, 033 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns; however, the Orediggers have one of the best quarterback-receiver combinations in the conference.

Mines quarterback Matt Brown leads the conference with 2, 784 passing yards and 25 touchdowns, while his favorite target, Cody Renken, is second in touchdown receptions.

Dom Lewis, the preseason all-conference defensive end, is expected to be limited this Saturday. Defensive coordinator Tom Auer says he is not ready for his first start after missing most of the year with a nagging hamstring.
