Mavericks, T-Wolves Play to 0-0 TIe

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.--The Colorado Mesa University Men's Soccer team took on the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves on a sunny Sunday afternoon at Walker Field. The two teams battled for 110 minutes but couldnt settle anything and left with a 0-0 tie.

The Mavericks record is now 8-4-2 on the season and 6-3-1 in the RMAC while the ThunderWolves are now 4-7-4 and 2-5-4 in RMAC matches.

Both teams took an even amount of shots in the match and they took an even amount of shots on goal.

The Mavericks best scoring opportunity came in the first overtime period when Sean Foster took the ball down the nearside of the field and crossed it to Brandon Burton. Burton took a shot but it was blocked right in front of the goal.

The Mavericks will have their final home weekend next weekend.

They will take on the Metro State Roadrunners on Friday then they will play the Regis Rangers on Sunday.
