Katrina Selsor Wins RMAC Player of the Week Award

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.- Katrina Selsor was named Monday as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Offense Player of the Week. Selsor is a three-time RMAC Player of the Week. She was named offense player of the week twice and earned defensive honors in early December.

Selsor averaged a double-double with 24.5 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game in two home wins against Black Hills State and Chadron State.

She scored a career high and game high 31 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in No. 7 CMU's win over Black Hills State, 82-55. Selsor had 20 points and six rebounds at halftime. She made 10-of-13 from the field, 2-of-3 three-point field goals and 9-of-10 free throws to go with her two assists and steal.

In CMU's 82-37 win over Chadron State, Selsor posted another double-double with a game high 18 points and 11 rebounds in 23 minutes of action. She had 10 points and eight boards at halftime. Selsor was 5-of-8 from the floor and 7-of-8 from the foul line and tallied four assists and two steals.

Selsor shot 71.4 percent from the floor over the weekend. She tallied 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals in the two games.

Selsor leads the team averaging 8.7 rebounds per game and is second in scoring average (14.4). Selsor has a team high 80 assists and 41 steals, and leads the team in free throw percentage (.822), while shooting 48 percent from the floor. She is averaging 32.0 minutes per game.

The first place Mavericks (20-1 overall) will travel this weekend to New Mexico Highlands and Western New Mexico.
