Jeff Hart and Kelsey Sigl Take Home All-American Academic Honors

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Colorado Mesa basketball players Jeff Hart and Kelsey Sigl were named Wednesday to the Capital One All-American Academic Team for the 2012-2013 season. Both were named to the third-team.

Hart, is a finance major with aspirations to go into investment banking upon graduation. The senior guard is averaging better than 16 points per game to go along with four rebounds per contest so far this season. He has the Mavericks ranked sixth in the Central Region with three games to go before the start of the RMAC Tournament.

Sigl is a Kinesiology major that is the cornerstone of Taylor Wagner's team this season. The North Dakota native leads the RMAC in scoring (18.3 ppg) and in three-point field goal percentage (50 percent) Sigl also entered into the 1000 point club at CMU earlier this season after spending her freshman year playing in North Dakota.

The No. 4 Mavericks will play their final road game of the regular season this Saturday at Western State.
