Colorado Mesa Makes Final Preparations For Fort Lewis

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Colorado Mesa's Men's Soccer team completed their final practice Thursday afternoon in preparation for Friday's home opener against the reigning National Champion, Fort Lewis College.

The Mavericks are 2-1-1 on the year falling in their most recent contest to Fort Hayes St. (Neb.) 2-1.

Josh Pittman's group is captained by the University of San Francisco transfer, Michael Bagheri.

The Skyhawks come in ranked as the 22nd best team in all of Division II. Kick-off is at 7p.m. Friday night at Walker Field.
