Chandler Burgon Cleared To Play After Shoulder Surgery

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Senior forward Chandler Burgon was officially cleared by doctors Monday to "fully participate" in practice, after having surgery in late September to repair a torn right labrum.

Burgon started all but one game a season ago as junior, averaging 5.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest. The Sandy, Utah native had 20 points and 11 rebounds in a game against Nebraska-Kearney (2/3/2012)

As a sophomore, he averaged 3.1 points and 3.2 rebounds per contest with a team-high 22 blocks.

The 24-year-old senior is expected to play January 19th against Western State.
