CMU's Courtney Maihi Earns More All-American Honors

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Courtney Maihi was named to the 2012 Easton Fastpitch All-American Non-Division I Team--earning her third All-America Team honor this spring.

Last month Maihi was named National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America First Team and 2012 Daktronics All-America Softball Team.

Easton announced NCAA Division I All-America First and Second Team and a Non-Division I All-America Team. Maihi and Adams State's Katelyn Lovato were the only two RMAC student-athletes to earn Easton All-America status.

Maihi ranked second overall in Division II in runs batted in (68). She led the team with a .444 batting average and finished the season with a team high 68 RBI, 15 homeruns, 63 hits and 46 runs. She had 10 doubles and two triples on the season. Maihi was a perfect 12 for 12 in stolen bases and led the team with a .534 on-base-percentage. She led the team in victories with 13 (13-13) and finished the season with 26 starts, 31 appearances and a team high 168.0 innings pitched.
