GRAND JUNCTION, colo.- Colorado Mesa University (17-0, 13-0 RMAC) maintained its No. 4 ranking in the latest USA Today/WBCA Division II Coaches' Poll released Tuesday. CMU's second consecutive week at No. 4 is the highest ranking in school history for the women's program.

The Mavericks remain the only Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team to crack the Top 25 poll and are one of four undefeated teams in the poll.

No. 1 Ashland University (21-0) is followed by Bentley University (17-0) and Clayton State (18-0) as the top three teams respectively. CMU at 17-0 is receiving 658 total points, with Western Washington University (15-2) holding down the No. 5 spot with 639 points.

CMU pushed its record to 17-0, 13-0 in RMAC play with home victories over Metro State and Regis University this past weekend. The Mavericks will take to the road this weekend playing Colorado School of Mines on Friday and at Colorado Christian on Saturday evening.

CMU's 17-0 start is the best in school history, breaking the previous season-opening mark of 11-0 in 1988-1999.
