CMU Puts on Pads For First Time Under Russ Martin

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Colorado Mesa's Football team practiced in full pads for the first time in the fall in the Russ Martin era at CMU Monday morning.

The Mavericks will open the season on August 30th, at No. 21 Humbolt State.

Martin has yet to name a starting quarterback in the competition between four players--Jason Haferman, Chris Henderson, Deke Cisco and Austin Fales.

CMU will begin two-a-days Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m.
