Brian Pearson Steps Aside as CMU's Head Swim Coach

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Colorado Mesa Swim Coach, Brian Pearson, has decided to step down as the Program's Head Coach, according to a press release from the CMU Athletic Department.

Pearson, who just finished his sixth season at CMU says that he will become an assistant coach and will focus on the development of the athletes, while running the school's new club program.

The 2012 Maverick swim team was the best in school history--setting 132 school records and boasting three All-Americans. They were also named the Athletic Department's, "Team of 2012."
