Both Maverick Basketball Teams Get Set For Conference Home Opener

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Both the Men's and Women's Basketball teams at CMU continued practice Wednesday for their conference home opener Friday night against Western New Mexico.

The men are led by the reigning RMAC Offensive Player of the Week, Colton Burgon, who is averaging a team best 17.8 ppg.

The women have been dominant holding opposing teams to just over 45 points per game--third best in the nation.

They are led by Preseason Conference Player of the Year, Kelsey Sigl, who leads the team with 15.5 ppg.

Tip off is Friday night at 5:30 p.m. at Brownson Arena.
