Roger Walters Returns to Coach at Alma Mater

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-Former Colorado Mesa Women's Head Basketball Coach, Roger Walters announced Monday that he will become the new head coach at Rifle High School.

Walters returns to coaching the Bears after being in charge of the boys program from 1995-2002. He also graduated from Rifle High School in 1985.

Walters spent three seasons at Colorado Mesa before resigning on April 27th of this year. He led the Mavericks to a 38-42 record during his tenure at CMU.

Walters has a son and daughter who both attend Rifle High School.
