Palisade Talks Loss to Ryan Moeller and Rifle

by Josh Moser

GRAND JUNCTION, colo.-NewsChannel5's Claire Brandon caught up with Luke McLean and Head Coach, John Arledge Friday afternoon to discuss Thursday night's loss to Rifle.

"We're a little dinged up but we'll be alright," said McLean, who threw two interceptions in Thursday's 31-3 loss. "We just have to take the good things away from this one-- we did good things, we did bad things I know that I made two really big mistakes that cost us points in the end and we just have to let it go."

"Anytime you lose, whether its a big game or a small game, you evaluate everything you're doing," said Arledge. "You look at your kids and their positions and decide if they will be successful there and you re-evaluate yourself as a coach and as a staff and you have to get better."

Palisade will most likely drop from their No. 2 State Ranking on Monday. The Bulldogs will travel to Steamboat Springs in Week 7.
